Quitting Socials

I think I've had it with the big social internet. At least for a while. No more Mastodon, HN, Lobste.rs, podcasts, Shorts, or other places that inevitabely devolve into screaming matches about topics which I ultimately am not interested in. I have decided that these places are making my life worse, because the downsides of visiting them outweigh the upsides of doing so.

I'll continue to happily use rss to follow authors whose opinions and writings interest me, and hope to use my newly found free-time to find more feeds to follow and to write more on my own turf. Hooray!
